
About Me

I'm Rocky Swearingen, a lifelong resident of Lawrence, Kansas. Growing up and currently living on the family farm northeast of Lawrence in Southwest Leavenworth county. I graduated form Lawrence High School in 1986, and am a proud alumni of the Douglas county 4-H program. I attended the University of Kansas and majored in Business. I started working for my Uncles construction company after high school and bought in as a full partner shortly after college.
For 33 years I was an owner and operator of Wempe Brothers Construction. A company well known for its quality craftsmanship and wide scope of work. Giving me a lifetime of real world knowledge of every aspect of residential construction. I was certified as Certainteed "Master Contractor". The company was sold in 2020 when my Uncle/ partner retired. I then started a training program in Kansas City at The Professional Inspection Training Institute, certifying in the "Master Inspector" program. I received 150 hours of "1-on-1" training, followed by on the job training with a firm in Kansas City. Certifying with the Internachi Association I have logged another 70+ hours of CEU training. I truly bring a lifetime of real world knowledge and classroom training to my clients, for any home, any size, any shape.
